On Sunday, our last day in Florida we went over to New Smyrna Beach, a little south of Daytona Beach to see my cousin Bob Payne. Bob his wife Kaire and Bob's daughter Kelly and her daughter Kailey, who were down from Michigan visiting too all went over to our favorite restuarant, Breakers on New Smyrna Beach. I sure wish we could have stayed over in New Smyrna Beach, it is a lot nicer than Daytona beach. I like visiting Daytona for a few hours, but staying there was a little too much. We'll have to remember that for next year. After leaving New Smyrna we headed back over to Kissimmee to Downtown Disney for a few hours. We wanted to get in a little more Disney before we left FL. We left there about 6:00PM and began our trip home. At about 8:30 the next morning we were in lower Indiana and stopped at a Waffle House Restuarant in Seymour, Indiana, home of John Cougar Mellencamp. The drive home seemed harder than usual this year. Mindy drove from there to Ft. Wayne Indiana. After picking up Mickey from the dog sitters, we ended up home at about 2:00PM. At least we didn't return to snow like we have in some of the years past. Photos of Bob and I at Breakers, Shelby, Rena and Chloe in front of Breakers on New Smyrna Beach, me on my new Harley... I wish....Harley Davidson shop in Downtown Disney, Mindy at the Waffle House.
Live webcam at New Smyrna Beach, a few yards from Breakers. In fact this cam is on the public beach, just south of Flagler Ave. You can see Breakers about half way down the beach.

3:00AM...driving home on highway 24 in the middle of Tennessee listening to Coast to Coast AM with George Noory. Kind of gives you the creeps listing to this program, especially on a very dark highway in the middle of the night in the mountains of Tennessee!
